A Green Guestbook was installed in November of 2009. In the first six months, they recorded visitors from 12 different countries, 40 states and the District of Columbia. Here’s what some of them had to say: “Really great - history not only of B.B. But of black society in the Delta. Staff is excellent and very helpful.” “Very exited to be on such historic place. Thanks for finding Holland on the map.” “I really learned a lot about my culture” “I really did enjoy my visit!!! I will be back!! Great Staff!!” “I’m an Artist on the road with BB off and on around the world-and stopped by to pay respect to the man who made me who I am.”
When GGb debuted, the first subscribers were seven forward-looking organizations whom we call “Primary Partners”. Six of them were museums, ranging from art galleries to discovery centers; one was a Fortune 500 corporate headquarters. These seven sites helped the GGb team craft our offering to appeal to a broad variety of places and serve the public in many exciting ways. Since that first group, we have added LEED-certified Parks, Nature Sanctuaries, a Gaming Company, and BB King’s hometown; also additional museums, galleries, events and historic sites. Green Guestbook continues to grow and change and has never forgotten that one of the most important business considerations is listening to our subscribers. Some of the best ideas for improvements and enhancements come from the people that are using our system every day. GGb signers leave digital messages for the places they sign and for each other, and GGb subscribers use this information to better serve their public and their communities. They also share ideas to help us improve the product. Everyone wins when digital communication simplifies the way we interact. |
